4th NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Building on the success of the APMN’s previous conferences in Wollongong (Jan 2014), Brisbane

(Oct 2015) and Perth (Oct 2017) the APMN’s fourth National conference, “Listen to the Spirit …

and Sing!” will highlight the importance of music as integral to liturgy, religious education,

community prayer and all aspects of Church life. The event will be held over three days from 1 –

3 October 2019 at ACU Melbourne.

The APMN team has secured internationally acclaimed theologian and composer, Tony Alonso, and liturgist, author and composer, Diana Macalintal, both from the USA, as our keynote speakers. Additionally, during 6 breakout blocks, over 45 workshops, masterclasses and showcases will be facilitated by an array of Australia’s top pastoral musicians, liturgists, composers and educators.
